Have A Party With Monopoly – Nightmare Before Christmas Style!!
By
The most popular board game in the world has collaborated with a cult classic film to produce ?Tim Burton?s The Nightmare Before Christmas Monopoly Board Game.? This game made available by USAopoly and licensed from Hasbro, will have you enjoying the original Monopoly with a twist of scary and ghoulish revamping, including the vivid photography from Nightmare Before Christmas.
There are no puppy dog tokens in this version of the game, but you can always try the evil Scary Teddy. The thimble has also been replaced by the Zombie Duck. There are six eerie collectible pewter tokens included in this collector?s edition game.
Get ready for action when you begin the game, roll a four and Mr. Ooogie Boogie will demand $200 for your gambling losses! Missed that by a hair did you? Ok proceed further and purchase some of Halloween Town, like ?Hanging Tree Hangout? or ?Undersea Gal?s Lake.?
Don’t plan on riding the Reading Railroad either! Land on what were the railroad squares and you may find yourself owning the entrance door to “Christmas Town” or “Easter Town.” One thing that hasn’t changed is “Go to Jail,” land here and you can forget about your chance to own one of the two blue squares, namely “Jack’s Tower” or “Sally’s Alley.”
Each property is named after notable locations in Halloweentown. If you purchase enough properties, you can begin to take over the game, purchase gifts to put on your properties and soon build assembly lines and be crowned the Pumpkin King of Halloweentown.
Be careful not to overspend on too much property and gifts because if you land on the ?Christmas Gift? or ?Halloween Present? squares you may be handing over cash on repairs for a broken microscope. Community Chest and Chance both have a new name; however, they will still cost a lot.
If you like Jack Skellington, then you will be especially impressed with the Jack money. Each bill has one of Jack?s many gruesome faces.
Want everyone at your get together to play, and think Monopoly may take too long to finish? Try the 60-minute speed game! Six goblins or vampires can play at a time, and the game is fun for your vampire kids to play as long as they are a minimum of eight years old.
