Simple ways to save energy
By
We all have to contribute a little bit if we want to curb the global energy crisis.
I don’t know about you, but I get annoyed when I hear about the nearly endless amount of problems that threaten our environment each day. It seems that all we ever hear about are the enormous changes that governments are making to relieve this problem. Instead, I want to hear about the small changes that I as an individual can make that will help our energy crisis. So I’ve done a little research for your sake and mine, and have come up with a few basic methods of alternative energy that pretty much anyone can follow.
Cut your fuel usage in your vehicle by reducing the amount that you drive. We can’t all stop hitting the road every day, but there are practical ways to apply this idea. But perhaps we can all look for easy and simple ways to carpool to reduce how much we drive every day. Use techniques like leaving one car at home or carpooling to help with the energy crisis. Better still, try to walk or ride a bike whenever you are able.
One of the easiest things you can do to help the energy problem is to simply turn your lights off during daylight hours. How often do you see an office and they have their lights on while free sunlight is streaming right through the window? So take a good look around you and see what extra lights and other gizmos you have plugged in that you really don’t need to use. The chances are good that everyone reading this has a at least one little thing that they could reduce energy consumption each day. If you would like to reduce energy bills as well as save the planet, then you might want to consider getting off the grid by learning how to build your own solar panels The world may not be changed by one more order from the government, but it just might be changed as individuals do their part in helping find and use methods of alternative energy.
