Summer Has Passed by

Do you know what I was thinking of today? The summer holidays are virtually over and September is almost here. I was reading through the newspaper when I come across the face of Danni Minogue and Cheryl Cole. Yes thats right it was because of the 2009 X Factor starting soon. I mean the year has literally flew by so quick, it seems as though the X Factor has just finished. And we all know that the X Factor signals the beginning of the winter season. So where has the summer gone so vast. I mean I did not live any of it.
Lets have a quick think back, I think it was in June that we had a bug bout of sunshine, but unfortunately I was not in the country at the time. We then had a huge bout of rain until the heat wave struck again for around a week. Since then it has been a constant flow of rain and drizzle.
Well it seems to be all over now as we head into the Autumn, so instead we have to think about switching on and checking the Central Heating. There are a few things that you should be looking at doing to keep your costs lower this winter.
First and foremost you should look at ordering the heating oil that you need right now, if you do you may still be able to get some discount prices, the second thing is to plan for the winter. I acknowledge that a lot of people merely switch the heaters on when they feel it getting a bit chilly, but this is altogether the incorrect thing to do. I mean its not cold every day of the winter, so why run up your bills?
